BrentizzleFucking mint man!
What bag setup are you on? Right now my plan is accuair e-level and compressor stuff and airlift performance struts/bags and control arms.
Gona buy my bags after xmas and I'm thinking about getting a genpu speed after the winter but i'll have the bags for which ever car I end up with.
basedjaseNow were fucking talking. '88 e30 is my fucking dream.
gengar.my new project.
can't wait until its on the ground.
Ricardo.Bought this baby as my first car a couple days ago. It's a 2000 Subaru Outback Legacy 2.4l 4 cylinder. It's got 193,000km on the clock (119,000 miles) and got the timing belt done last year. It's fully loaded, except for leather seats. Bought it for $1,600 at an auction.

-PoonHammer-Congratulations, you bought your 2000 Subaru (god tier car by the way) for about 1/3 the cost mine was with almost identical starting mileage
caroline.Holy sack of shit that's cheap. Amazing catch.
Good call on the 4cyl, you won't regret it. The 6's from that generation suck donkey balls.

KravtZBeen looking into getting a new car to mess around with and honestly have no idea how reliable auction companies are and with additional fees , etc
Where do you go about finding proper auction sites? I know a lot of them are for dealer only. How did you find that particular car at the auction? Did you know of it before hand or did you just show up and hope for the best.
Ricardo.I found this particular auction just by going on Google and searching "Calgary car auction". Usually they have a stock list of the cars they have. Lots of cars have reserves (my cars reserve was 2500) but almost none of them go for that much. You can usually go the day before the auction and check out the cars and start them up. There's also taxes and buyers fees to add on (depends how much your car is).
KravtZAlright thanks man im sure the NYC area has a decent amount around. Sounds like you get an absolute deal as well congrats

plyswthsqrrlsfull airlift setup for me, the autopilot management does just fine for what I need, but the accuair would be a nice upgrade lol.
but yeah man bags is a good call, so glad I switched over. keeps cops off of you as well
___ASP___bags are air bags, they allow you to to raise or lower the car with the push of a button so you can drive over obstacles like speed bumps, ramps etc without bottoming out. You can also air out and drop the car as low as you like. Good alternative to driving really low on coil overs because you will rub/scrape.
Car update for me, sold my R32 for $2,000 more than I bought it for after 3 years and 50,000 ams of ownership!! (not too bad for what is usually a depreciating asset!)
Picked up an Audi B7 A4 Avant, 6speed manual and 2.0T, such an awesome car, can't wait for winter!
Chunter^ Best car in this thread.
SFBthat is just the worst
plyswthsqrrlsI fail to see how being on air makes a car "the worst"
ChunterProbably because you're a pussy and can't roll static.

plyswthsqrrlsyeah man, can't roll static. drove slammed three years on coils, finally made it on to the watch list for local police for being "unsafe." came home to an officer waiting at my house to tell me my car will be pulled off the road next time they see me drive it.
gengar.Or he got tired of rolling static and you're the pussy because you can't afford bags.
I love a good mazda
yangumanethose real Meisters? look fake
ChunterOkay I can respect that, at least you know. I'm talking about the kids who go straight air and barely even tuck tire, let alone wheel. This was 3 and a half years ago, sold it and have drove a stock R32 ever since.
lol don't act like you know.
I probably know more than you. Been driving around my boyfriends static b7 a4 avant for the past year

They're real, just two-piece.
Culture+no jokes real deal 04 grand Cherokee with them Yakima racks yo
plyswthsqrrlsyeah I know what you mean there. all those "the struggle is real" kids who just go bag over coils right away and complain about their shitty ride are the worst
nice looking ride you had there, and love me an r32 stock or otherwise
looking back I snapped pretty quick lol, my apologies man.
ChunterAhaha this has to be a shitty troll.
ChunterNo worries, I was just bored trying to start shit on the internet anyways. Finally some love in a NS car thread; that alone is very rare haha. I dig your car! I always had a thing for Shavi's MS3 when he was static.

Bassage.
Another nice shot of my Ty with my boss' Ty/Shop Truck, and yes he has a sweet camo wrap to set his truck apart from the snow during the winter and all the other white typhoons

willifastI have a '74 spider and love it. If you live in the US i would go anything before 1974 because they look a lot better without the rubbermaid bumpers and little to no emissions regulations. Super fun to drive, make a great noise but are a bitch to work on and cost a lot to maintain. Just be careful of frame rust.
Bogezyah i would love the first gen one but i only want the car for fun. not looking to spend a ton of money.
