Should i be concerned about my knee?

I was skiing yesterday and while i was about to spin out of a box, my right foot got caught under. so my leg got a bit twisted up. After that, my knee was feeling a little strange, but i didnt feel or hear a pop in my knee(ive torn my acl in my other knee before and i knew for sure it wasnt an acl tear). I ignored it and kept skiing as hard as i wanted, and it was fine all day.
When i arrived home, I finally started to feel it a little. Still nowhere near as bad as it was the time I've torn my left acl. I think its just that my knee was swollen, and it sort of feels like i cant fully extend it, probably just because of the swelling. So im a bit worried right now. I can put as much weight on it right now as i was able to before yesterday, and i know you cant really do that with a torn acl. My friend told me it's happened to her before and shes fine now, so hopefully im fine. Has this ever happened to anyone?

It could still be your acl. I tore mine playing soccer a few weeks ago it popped and i fell i was shaken for a bit got up tried running on the side could do somewhat of a sprint and went back into the game 5 minutes later to play. After the game it was sore but i could still put all my weight on it and walk relatively fine. I also think ACl's dont always pop and my knee never swelled very much. If your worried about it get that shit examined by a doctor....knees are a big deal.

You may have just tweaked it. Same thing happened to me last year begginning of season. My knee kinda got swollen and was sore for 3 days. Then it disappeared and i havent had any problems since.

It could be your Lateral Ligament. I did mine in a crash where my knee twisted. It didn't hurt much at the time just kind of felt weird, numbish then that night it swelled up heaps and got sore. Couldn't extend it. Get it checked out though knees are a bitch of an injjury and if they heal badly you cna stuff it for life.

I've torn my acl twice and I didn't hear the pop either time. Not saying it is, but be careful with that shit man, it's not always obvious.

Ice it. If the swelling goes away and you feel fine get back out there, if after a couple days it's still not all there hit up the doctor.

alright, well this is kinda weird but it feels perfectly fine right now. idk if its from all the whiskey i had tonight but i think if i ice it one more time tonight ill be fine

i would recomend taking some ibuprofen before you go to bed, because one, if it hurts, you will never fall asleep, and two, it won't hurt as bad in the morning. and take another when you wake up. trust me, it will hurt in like 6 hrs.
