i hate this bullshit. i cant figure out why i cant sleep. ive been up for about 4 days and i cant sleep. my mind wont stop racing.

should i call medic? im getting kinda worried i wont lie.

hmm, maybe you should smoke some weed.  I would recommend against drinking, because you don't get good rest while your body is metabolizing alcohol.  Otherwise you should just watch tv in a warm dark room, you'll be out in 5 minutes.

trust me, i would smoke if i could. i used to smoke everyday, but now i live in singapore. marijuana carries a death penalty and life in prison for marijuana charges.

jesus, why the hell are you in singapore??

i know ive been up til about 4 every night for the last week working on projects for school, and i still have trouble getting to sleep even though im tired just because i can't stop thinking about how much work i have to do. it takes a minute, but after i convince myself everything will be cool in a couple weeks, im good to go.

no thats exactly what it is! i had to stay up for work one night till around 3 and now i just cant sleep. i want sleep more than anything in the entire world and i just cant calm me head down.

None of those post were helpful, so stop being a douche.  Your post was just as stupid, it's not like he's having some trouble sleeping tonight because he had a Red Bull.  He hasn't slept in 4 days!  You can't just read a book and be good to go, my mom has insomnia and she uses a suscribed pill just to fall asleep every night.  I would recommend you go see a doctor bro, the longer you wait, the worse you will feel.

thanks dude, i dont think people realize im not kidding.

i got some medical attention. basically i have to take a pill to fall asleep for the time being. the problem i seem to have is being overtired like running on overdrive. i need to get knocked back onto a regular sleeping pattern and i'll be good.


also, my apologies for being really on the edge. i rarely lose my temper, even a little. but i feel like hell and smart ass comments arent helping me out.

yeah man i had insomnia for about 6 months after my shoulder surgery then one day i just went to bed and it was fine, it was some weird shit i would sleep then wake up and stay up so id get 2-3 hours of sleep a night it kinda sucked but youll snap out of it, it could be the stress from being in singapore

weird how I have insomnia to and find those strategies helped me stop relying on sleeping pills then eh?  They both gave him strategies to assist, he already said he was going to a doctor.

I have the opposite, I think I have mild narcolepsy. Like I'll just be resting my head on my arm in class, next thing I know I'm waking up in the same position and its the end of class.

hahahahaha, solid advice for someone with insomnia. Last time I took 2 hits of acid I was wired awake from 6 when it hit me till 6 in the morning just watching the patterns.

I had horrible insomnia as a result of my Acutane medication. I didn't sleep for 10 days strait. I would seemingly blink and when I came to, it would be 3 hours later and I would be in a different part of town with absolutely no memory of how I got there. I would also have daylight hallucinations, like the clothes on my bedroom floor crawling up the walls and the tile floor of my physics classroom turning into liquid, and all of our desks bobbing as if they were floating. then I would snap out of it, and not know what year it was.

fucking sucked.
