We are very anxious to get the new skis in your hands. It won't be long now, just a few more weeks. The skis will be leaving the factory shortly and upon their arrival in Salt Lake we'll sort and ship as fast as possible to expedite their arrival at your home. We still believe we are on course to ship the products during the week of October 20.

The skis are ready to go. What does that mean? It means your skis start shipping TODAY, Oct. 15! Basically, if you weren't having a good day, now you are. Expect a tall box (or two or three, depending on how many skis you picked up) to arrive at your doorstep shortly.

The Good and Bad News
The good news is that we have begun shipping skis to customers who participated in the preseason sale about one week ahead of the delivery schedule promised at the time of the sale. The bad news is that the run on the MR's is not 100% complete. What does this mean? It means that we will ship those MR's that have been completed in the order in which they were purchased, and we will continue to do so as these skis become available in production. In short, as a customer who purchased a MR you may have to wait a bit longer to have your order filled. This applies equally to local pickup customers, your MR's may not be available at the upcoming local pickup events (additional pickup dates and times will be posted shortly). We sincerely apologize if we got your hopes up by the previous email, and hope that we can make it up to you by including a few "extras" in your order.
In the meantime, please try to ignore those customers who begin to gloat as to how sick the Mavens are as they begin receiving their orders. Although it may increase your stoke to receive your MR's, I'm sure it won't help pass the time any faster.
Again, I apologize profusely for my premature email and appreciate your patience. We are working our hardest to make sure your orders get out as fast as possible. Thank you so much for supporting Bluehouse, it really means so much to us.

I was a little confused and was hoping for an update in my profile on their website about when they were shipped too. at least there was updates. they expained the MR's situation pretty clearly too. with a smaller company you gotta take into account that they are just that "small" it is gonna take a little time to get this stuff out. YOu got a super good deal on a nice pair of skis. I got mine this weekend finally and am super stoked about my purchase.

maybe wait until you ship the skis to actually charge the customer. I'm sure you have reasons to do it the way you do... but It sucks beings 3 hund poorer for six weeks and nothing to show for it. I'm super satisfied either way though...
