When have you seen a telemarketer ski switch? NEVER!
Then why do so many have twin tips?








* Always stay in control.
* People ahead of you have the right of way.
* Stop in a safe place for you and others.
* Whenever starting downhill or merging, look uphill and yield.
* Use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
* Observe signs and warnings, and keep off closed trails.

i have been telemarking for 3 years now. i ride the pipe, rail and land switch. its goo because its a lighter set-up and its mounted on the balance point of the ski.

landings can be really sketchy sometimes, i have pulled bindings off skis and i have my springs let go for nothing, i had fuckin binding let go in the air. but its all good

i haven't figured out to land switch in the pipe but i can do it off rails and i'm 50-50 off booters landing switch.

and a vid from last winter. its not the sickest but i get a good 4 feet of air out, i have done better...

dude spokaneskier you're a fucking idiot. how many twin tip tele park skis are out there? the piste pipe and the ruckit. the rest are twin tipped for powder skiing. so that makes 2 out of 100+ tele skis. in my opinion we need more twin tips and if you haven't seen teleskiers ski switch then you haven't seen any real skiers. i tele and i can ski switch better than most of the alpine skiers i've ever met.

I rip pow, groomers, and trees on Dragons with tele bindings (Skyhoys). I didn't get much time in the park last year and had to remount my skis (I set the three pin line at the boot centre mark, which was a bad idea). Still, I didn't do too bad on the rails ad boxes.

If you do learn, try to use plate bindings so you can parallel turn in a pinch. That's my reccomendation, at least. I p-turn when it gets sketchy, but t-turn when I can open up those long arcs.

telemarking is cool but for jibbing it just doesn't make any sense. think if roller blades only straped in on the toe. what the hell their is no reason. ITs just an excuse, oh i am on tele's whooped dooo.

What doesn't make sense is buying a telemark setup and a separate alpine stup just for jibbing. If a person can jib on their telemark gear, why not? It sure as hell costs less than having to sets and is less hassle than having to swap gear when you want to make a run through the park.

I think its time to finally move on to a more extreme sport. How bout we get really long skis, with lace up boots, and cam bindings. I mean think about it, with todays technology, the shit that our grandparents learned on is as extreme as it gets. Oh yeah and lets make russian hill into a ski sloap, straight down to the pier :)
Oh yeah and Ill put up props for telemarkers. My uncles been telemarking all his life, and about two years he face planted into a tree ( probably a bit to much ganja) and fucked up his face real bad. But he got up, picked up his broken skis and walked down the mountain. Props to that.

you all are idiots, tele skiers arent hardons like most of the poeple on this forum and theyre super sick skiers, Andrew SB for example outta colorado, 270s on teles and rodeo 5s, cork 7s everythin, hes better than most of u regular skiers

why dont tele dudes use normal skis/bindings to ski park and when they leave onto groomed or pow put there telys back on. personaly i think tele skiing is gay but mabey im just ignorent

its a hole lot harder to stomp the landing
tele jibbing is good because

1) the setup is lighter
2) i mounted my skis on the balance point same weight in the front and back, easy to spin


i think ridding on my tele has made me a better alpine skier, you learn a hole lot about balance and weight transfers. anyway, calling shit gay is gay.
