Alternative- CKY 'Disingage the Simulator'
Alternative- AFI 'Morning Star' and 'The Great Disappointment' or any of there stuff, it's all high energy

I think that CKY,HIM(Silligum Diaboli), ACDC(a lot of songs...),Iron Maiden,Steppenwolf and the Kinks are good rock/metal band
and if you want hardcore shit go for Lamb Of god
maybie for BC stuff Chevelle should be good(songs like forfeit, The red, Long) and I think a really good band for both would be Tool maybie with the song Parabola
