i agree but its early in the season so maybe he just wanted to come out and warm up kinda. like no doubt he will be hitting up pro contest's.
im not really hating on him, but i can see why you guys would be pissed. but still you want some dough, he wants some dough.
You guyz have NO clue at all!!!!
I mean come on, if you are a professionnal skie, your job is to make a living out of skiing right????
There arent that many comps at this time of the year where pros can compete.
How many pros did you see at freestyle.ch??? Most of the guyz who killed it last year didnt even get an invite to get there and those who went had to use their travel budget to get there.
Then you have a local comp where a local pro can compete to get some money cause he's good at skiing and that's actually how he makes money, by skiing. Why should he wait for someone to invite him for a chance of winning 10g when he can compete and if he's actually better then the rest of the field get 500$.
If your a real am then you should not even be competing for money anyway right??? amaters are not supposed to make any money out of their sport, just trophys and award. And then, how would you decide if someone is a pro or not, do you even know how much money most pro's are making???
The way pro skiers makes their money is by competing and winning comp. If there's a local comp where you can make decent money there is no reason why you shouldnt compete in it. Ifthe best skiers are not competing there is no glory in winning.
I've been hating on for comeptin with amateurs but what you guyz seem to forget is that these amateurs will end up being the pros if they have what it takes. and part of what it takes is being just as good if not better then the one who were pros before them.
what about bitches with money????
anyway, I,d have tosay that eating ramen isnt fun and pro skiers shouldnt have to rely on that to survive. Definatly not Godbout case but yea you should know whatI'm talking about....
what a good argument....
like hes a sick skier its just that its the year kickoff in ottawa and alot of the ppl who didnt get all the opertunities to travel around the world and ski for a living try hard and really look forward to that, like all im saying is i realise that hes a pro and got there by training and stuff but it would have meant alot more to someone else than it does to him, but then again judging by his response to this thread hes a douche and wouldnt care
