Alta - Christmastime... park?

I know for sure that it's all that and a bag of chips for BC, etc... but how's the park? if at all?

alta doesnt have a park, just go to park city to ski park, its like 30 mins away

Or you could just ski Snowbird's park which is connected to Alta or just a couple minutes down the road.

Just ski Snowbirds park. There is a lift that connects it to Alta.

uhhh..don't ski park if your going to alta, we are from the east, we can ski park anyday. powder is a different story.

if you want the goods be prepared to traverse like a mug, and if baldy is open, make sure you hike it, it will be worth your while, main chute is way fun, so is little chute....and the birds park isnt worth it to buy a ticket just to ride some park

yea if you are comming here from out east don't ski park. at alta to get the best shit do some hiking. they aren't that bad. Alta is a very laid back place. if you want to take fast top to bottem laps ride the Bird's tram, only drawback is that the Bird gets tracked out very quick unless you know where you are going.

i was wondering because for the last day i only have a half day... and can't do too much BC/hiking/traversing... and i was wondering if i should even buy a ticket for the last half day.

first alta is basically a natural terrain park, so many cool natural features... second, check out solidude while your their, it's much like alta but not as crowded, went their last year after and during a storm and skied fresh tracks all day, while someone else told me alta was really crowded that day... alta's still good though
