I've used it on a Powerbook G4, which had great speed improvements. I also have it on my iMac G4, and it's got some nice new features, but speed isn't notably better on this computer. I guess they updated a few more drivers which the Powerbook used, but it's a good update for the price.

Hey any of yous with the new PB G4 15' model had any problem with white spots showing up on the screen? Go check it out at the apple support pages on their website. Literally thousands of these thing arse seriously fucked up the ass with a design fault!

Personally jaguar was an out of date system, with pather o x I can download porn at a much faster rate therefore increasing the time of ejaculation on my mac. I suggest you throw away the jaguar because of its inferiorness.

osx panther isn't much different, its just an update of the drivers and a few extra goodies. its just supposed to be apples os to run on the g5. like the 32bit '64bit' os. i think this might be the last 32bit os from apple.. they might squeeze another update out.

ichat a/v is cool ;)

panther is awesome.. im running it on my 1.8 G5. Not only are alot of the buttons all smoothed out but the whole system runs much faster, and i dont know how i would live without expose.

hahaha...yah i'd buy it, i think its worth it, mainly cause it made my 2 year old 500mhz iBook actually pretty fast compared to whats out there

yea i wanna get panther, when i get broadband i will, is it a free update if you have the jaguar 10.2.6?......macs kill it!, i just need a video camera now, my friend just baught a canon gL 2, i wanna hook it up to my mac...
