Buying demo skis
Is it worth buying demo skis?
i did and they are great
Do they usually come with a cheap binding on them? Do the drill holes cause any problems when the binding is replaced?
You don't need to replace the binding because it is adjustable. But this makes the ski very heavy. For good performance put some newbindings on there. Its ok to have the holes. Your local shop can plug them and put on the newbindings.
-Hey Harry you want to go to Aspen?
-I don't know the French are assholes
(Dumb and Dumber)
I have a pair of powair demos and they're cool
Look at the abuse I put up with from everybody... I think I need a hug.
Matt Enns: 'Take that f**king helmet off and don't wear it ever again!'
Shaun Maclean: 'Purple skis... haha!'
Jeff Thomas: 'Shutup ya little freak, I'm gonna rape you more than you'd want to screw Britney Spears. WTF did you do to my truck???'
I bought demoed pow airs as well. The binding does make the ski heavier. They were pretty good untill they delaminated. Its covered on warrenty so its all cool. I'd say its worth it.
'It stinks in here cause I'm the shit!' -Kid Rock
Yeah, I have Pow air pros and they delaminate QUICK. No matter. Its in the warrenty.
'Bobby, why don't you just go to hell and work for the devil?' Hank Hill
i have 1080 demos and they're great for early and late season cuz i don't have to worry bout rocks, also make a great urban ski
Head injuries suck!
make sure you get a warranty... I bought a piar of Lines two seasons ago and I havent had to buy another pair of skis since because I keep getting free skis with my warranttys.
