i have a macbook and i have had it for about 5 months and the edging of the bottom part is coming off in like lines, i can't get a picture because i don't have my camera. but its chipping like under the mouse on the gray area and its chipped about 2 inches on the right side of the computer, under the mouse and on the left. i take very good care of it so i don't know why it is doing this, but does any one have any similar problems ? ill take a picture when i get my camera or ill use my cell phone in a bit but its kinda hard to explain but if anyone knows why it happens or if it happen to them, can you please discuss. i don't think apple will cover it, if its cosmetic damage but its annoying and looks like shit. thanks and + karm to anyone that can help, if you know if apple will cover it under warranty or not

if your warranty is still good then yeah it will probably cover it. when i got my computer they said they would fix it for free if anything was wrong with it. and there is no hurt in going and trying to get it fixed.

they might put a top on it. just go into an apple store and ask what they can do about it.

take it to your apple store and you will get it fixed no problem. everyone who says it wont get fixed is a retard. its under your 1 year or 3 (regardless) and they will fix it. My buddy took his in because his keys were "yellowing" (he is a dirt bag... jk pwnd) and got new keys, and a new battery while at it.
Take it in no questions asked.

so basically just go in and say.... " my computers chipping, is it covered under warranty to fix ? "
