obviously he's been out for awhile (so don't give me any of that "welcome to 2002" shit) but recently I've been listening to him and I'm wondering if any one else can say the same. If you know of him, but don't listen to him, I suggest you do..the word I can use to describe his music is "powerful".
my favorite song right now is from the album Cheers and is called "Don't Come Down"

i like his stuff. on most tracks hes pretty good lyrically, and he has dre and eminem production backing him. he never really took off commercially though. not enough rapping about women and drugs like 50 and he wasnt white like eminem so there wasnt really a selling point. guess he couldnt hop on the short lived d12 bandwagon either.
out of everyone signed on shady/aftermath though i think obie is the best. stat quo, bobby creekwater, and cashis and the rest of those guys are too southern and mainstream.
he will probably have stuff coming out on eminems new album and a bit on detox.
