Flip flopping is a fucking joke. I'd rather have a candidate who isnt afraid to change his or her minds and support on an issue because of new evidence come to light or changes in the world's political theater than a candidate who sticks stalwartly to their beliefs even if they've been deemed retarded.

Agreed, but I think this is generally more of a case of candidates who support anything that will get them elected.

I'd vote for reforms or something, or maybe just a candidate that both sides would settle on having for a while to sooth over the cracks in this country. Beyond that, the only viable solution would be a third party candidate rising to the occasion.... whiiiiiiiich wont happen.
