why talk shit man?? i dont know him, you probably dont know him, who knows? maybe he fuckin slays but has never been to the bird and just doesn't want to spend the time looking and go straight to the source..
you're a prick.
Hah, ok, but seriously.... snowbird and the wasatch in general is
covered with cliffs. A cliff that can be safe mid season can be
dangerous as hell early season, exc. It's a judgment call everytime.
If you can't decided for yourself what is safe to hit you probably
shouldn't be hitting it, there's notthing "prickish" about that, it's
common sense. Telling someone who doesn't know how to scope and probe a cliff for safety is just irresponsible and dangerous.
“Obsessed is the word that lazy people use for dedicated.”
he didnt ask when and how he should hit a cliff he asked where 30-40 footers are, i dont know about you but unless i'm right up near a cliff i can't really feel out the size of it, why not give a simple response of "oh there's this really dope 30 footer at blah blah blah..."
yea it's common sense not to hit a cliff until you know it has enough snow depth in the landing but last i checked people who didn't know siht about hitting cliffs didn't start with 30-40 footers.. i'm sure the guy knows his shit but like i stated earlier, why not get a little info about the area you're going to go ski before hand instead of wasting time scouting??
