for 200 pounds 8 seems low. i weighed 140 last season and they set at like 7 and i kept popping out so i cranked them up to 9. hyper extended my knee at one point but didnt pop out.
It really depends on how aggresive and what you are skiing. If you are just doing park, 8 is prolly good because you really don't want to fuck up your knees. If you are skiing super agressive lines where you really don't want your skis to come off you may want to push it up near 10, but not higher than that.
