ye its a common surfing term for "gapers " in beach terms. it got its name when people from the city came to the beach on the weekends and brought their lunch in shoeboxes. dont no how i know that

I've got a pair of slip-on Oakley's that are INCREDIBLY comfortable. THey've got some pretty good arch support even.

It was a no homo for saying thongs aren't your style, haha.
Those Oakley's are super comfy, but they are an older model, and limited sizes. Might have to dig. There is a newer model though.
