whatever man, regardless that they started the twin tip thing, they still have a great product, i'm currently on the 1080 171s, and they're real nice, progressive mount, wide under your foot, and the wieght to strength ratio is great, butters are key on them, buy bro, wit i mean get LINE. LINE SKIS IS OUR FUTURE, i think that's what i'm supposed to say now.. opps
the 1080's are a super versatile ski, they are great for things beyond the park, im not sure what you guys are talking about. Maybe you are talking out of your ass's?
Girls are not allowed to fart or burp, therefore we must bitch or else we will explode
i dont have anything from big corps except the shitty salomon boots and bindings.(s810) and (performa 5.0) but all my shit other than that is all small company oriented. oakley i have no beef with them b/c they support the movement where big ski companies have their hands tied with 'racing' and old people. thats thier consumers and what not. b/c our niche isnt big enough in the market still.
I had the teneighty silver last season with the s912 binding and the skis fuckin ruled. I have tried dynastars, rossis, and volkls, and the 1080 was the most solid ski i rode. Salomon has been improving the ski since the first yellow one. the 1080 is basically a x-scream with twin tip. However, dont buy salomon bindings; every pair i have ever had gets loose, or breaks.
