An Anchorage teenager has died of injuries sustained in a car rollover in Girdwood.
Alaska State Troopers say 17-year-old Jeffrey Morgan died Friday, several days after the accident near mile 95 of the Seward Highway.
Troopers say Morgan was a passenger in a southbound Subaru wagon driven Tuesday night by a 15-year-old girl who lost control of the vehicle.
The car veered off the highway and rolled over after crossing both southbound and northbound lanes.
Morgan was taken to the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage. The driver and another passenger were taken to another local hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
According to troopers, a lack of seat-belt use was a factor in Morgan's death.
