Over time, most people experience life involving love, suffering, compassion and an unspeakable drive for something new...For me there's skiing, nothing more nothing less and it encompasses everything, everyday I'm out there.
free running also has an actual name. its caller parkour. invented by the guy in the beginning of the most recent James Bond movie, Casino Rayale. i forgot the dudes name, but hee is rediculous. here is a crazy vid too. hope this works:
Actually the guy in the james bond movie is only the co-founder and his name is Sebasten Foucan. The main man behind parkour is David Belle, a frenchman with a gymnast background. Also, there is a difference between parkour and free running. True parkour involves no flips and is simply moving creatively and efficiently through your surroundings. Free running does involve flips and more "unnecessary" moves...Also watch Banlieu 13, its a french movie but you can find it dubbed over in english and it features David belle and Cyril Rafaeli (who is also sick) and its a bunch of awesome parkour scenes which should be checked out!
qft. i participate in both parkour and freerunning in my city. it kind of annoys me when people get the two mixed up because there are actually a lot of differences. parkour involves moving from a to b as fluidly and efficiently as possible, whereas freerunning has no destination and is simply a style of attacking your surroundings.
hit little kid snowboarders with your poles, tell them to smarten up and buy some skis, then launch a sick 720 tailgrab off of a 30-foot cliff.
