Back flip trouble

lol this sounds pretty sad and all but i cant brake my feer of doing a backflip and im scared to do them on the tramp although i do them all the time skiing.... i have been on my tramp all day and i cant seem to just huck it i just end up flailing like mad and dont go inverted whats the best way to brake this fear?

ahh brings me back to first back flip memorys, on the tramp its just all huck and hope u land....first backflip when i skied was off a jump made out of old truck tires stacked up and a sheep of plywood with about 2 inchs of snow, the run up was a fuckin dirt raod , anyway what helped me was just pretty much getting stoned then i didnt no what i was doing so i just did it

A friend of mine who is a gymnist went out and threw one of this big booter we built and stomped it first try. It was rediculus, he has such good air sense it wasn't even a problem. Just crazy.

i got same prob, but at least on skis i give em a try, on diving board i can do gainers, but on tramp i just figured id ignore em.

I learned it by jumping straight up in the air (not too high) the and then landing crouched together on the tramp (a bit more on my feet than on my ass) an then just throwing my head back and hucking it. You do the backflip completly hucked together in a ball. Then when you look up and see the tramp again, just make sure you're ready to put your hands down if you didn't get enough rotation.

Try it again and again and you wont fail...

Or...

Get your act together and do what you do on skis, But since you usually don't have as long hangtime on the tramp as on a jump, you'll need a faster flip.
