i think tanner is by far the most overrated skier he sucks in the pipe and has made everyone think good style is gorilla steez i get so pissed when people like cr get tons of attention for 15ft not 20ft 9's Greg tuffelmire is easily the best pipe skier in the world at the wsi in whistler he was doin 1260's 10 feet out he goes just as big as cr and candide but no one notices i think someone should kick dumont tanners and cr's asses i hate simon he is not that good people go bigger then him in the pipe all the time

Chricton is wicked good! His part in Strike Three is my favorite part! Tanner won silver in Superpipe X-games and I think he won the gold at the world Championships in Park City too. He is so damn smooth. Simon Dumont is super good too! He goes HUGE in the pipe! Obviously you have never seen Strike Three because he gets one of the top 2 biggest airs in the whole video at the WSI.

I reckon Dorion's over rated, he keeps getting goes in MSP flicks but he's shit, everyone knows Mosely is (especially to the general public because of his Winter Olympics exposure). I dont know if Vinnies overated, he has some pretty good shit in lifted. This is one of the wierdest posts I have ever seen. People think Greg Tifflemire is good at pipe? Tanner is overrated? Dorion overrated? C'mon now he's done so much for the sport you can't even say something like that. He's one of the guys in my opinion that was leading the progression of style into skiing. Look at him in 13, he's got the best style in the video.

These skiers y'all are calling over rated are at the top for a reason- they win for a reason (it's cause they're awesome). They are the ones who are leading our sport. this talk of 'overrated' needs to stop. Some of you guys are judging people's skiing ability, from what? 5 minutes of footage?
Think about that.

Filmers may have some of the sickest footage of the rider that never even makes it into the movie because the light wasn't ordeal, or overcast, or some other skier got in the way, or filming was shaky. And there is limited time to work with, what if he just wasn't 'on' that day.

What if I gave you 5 minutes to show me your skills. Do you think it's right for me to judge your whole skiing ability on those 5 minutes?

Well, that's what alot of you guys are doing.

Riders like Tanner Hall tear up the slopes in so many different aspects; he's innovative, progressive, and such a smooth rider in and away from the park. He's worked his ass off to get where he is and every run down the park he drills it like he was in a slopestyle comp.

Until you're out there riding next to guys like Tanner drilling the same runs as him, you have no room to speak. Because you really have no clue.

And back to GT, has anyone seen Volume 9?? his pipe run at the USFO was so gross that i was cringing by watching it, and somehow he got second. He put his hand or hip down on EVERY landing on the right wall. I know it was snowy and windy and the other skiers werent at the top of their game but Please, that run was a dissappointment
