Silverstar Resort, BC = HATERFEST

So I just got back from Silverstar Resort in BC with my friend mitch (k2skipunk) and holy shit. Is anyone nice there? The snow sucked but the weather was nice, and the snow wasn't really a problem since the park was good (by Baker standards at least), but whenever we would talk to people they would either 1. Talk shit to us, 2. Get scared when we offer high-fives, or 3. Ignore us.
For those of you who ski there, what's the deal? We probably asked 50 skiers who had a NS style if they had a NS account, and there were NO active Newschoolers. A few inactive ones, and one guy with a NS sticker though he was inactive as well.
Where's the on-hill love NS? And where is NS at this mountain!?

I don't see your point. Are you saying that you can't have fun if you throw high fives with random people?

it wasnt like that, id say hey, if u werent talking to buddies, then ask if your a newschooler, then proceed to high 5, in the park. but in lift lines and on the chair, everyone gets a high 5

Getting to meet people in really life is the biggest pleasure I get from this site, I don't know why you have decided that staying in your shell is a good idea, but meeting others with common interests and living live together is what it is all about.

What!? Baker is full of hippies and Grouse is full of racers and old people. He must've been tripping when he said that.

i dispise it when people talk about ns to me on the hill. Ns is an after skiing thing, nothing to talk about on the hill, and be my friend on the mountain you dont have to try and validate it through the internet
All times are Eastern (-4)
