My friend who I grew up with (he still lives in connecticut) called me yesterday and asked me if I wanted to hike the appalachian trial with him Jul.1 (New Hampshire/Maine Boarder across the White Mountains) its 117 miles. I was wondering If anyone knew anything about that hike such as the frequency of resupply points, weather, exc. Neither of us have done serious hiking before but it sounds like fun. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

I know quite a bit about it. I'll give you some info later. I know two people whom have done the whole thing. One of which did it in one trip, along with blueblazing a bunch of off trails. I camp and backpack alot.
