holy shit ton of questions

all girls who ski are hot.  end of story.

I ski because I love it more than anything else in the world. I fell free on the slopes and I have no obligations other than to keep myself healthy and in one piece.

I would consider newschool skiing to be anything that is pushing the limits. Whether it's backcountry or park. Also, any skiing that isnt under restriction AKA the FIS.

The most important aspect of newschool skiing is having fun, and pushing your limits. You should feel satisfied after a day of skiing.

I think that everyone's respones on the BEST ski is going to be different. I really like my Head mojo 80s.

I dont think many girls newschool because most girls would rather do other things than ski. They MIGHT be more focused on other things. I dont think there is one definitive answer here. THey might feel intimidated to join a male dominated sport, or they might feel intimidated by the jumps. I know my sister doesnt like to hit the jumps in the park when other people are watching her.

I think its awsome when anyone skis, girls included.

I dont know any girls that ski in the newschool style.

why do you ski?
I ski because I can forget about all my worries and truly have fun/be happy. There's a lot more to it, but that's the bet I can do without writing a paragraph haha.
what do you consider to be newschool skiing?
I consider newschool skiing to be anything from the past decade or so to the present.
what is the most important aspect of newschool skiing?
To be yourself. To not give a shit about what other kids think of no poles, tight pants, etc. This way you can feel comfortable and truly progress.
what do you think are the best skis?
I personally believe that K2 makes the best skis. I haven't skied on all of them but I can say that I absolutely love my Fujatives. Had the 04/05's for 2-3 seasons and I've got 07/08's now.
why don't many girls newschool?
They have more important things to be doing like shopping, going to the movies, flirting, etc. Honestly I don't think many girls have the personality that I associate with a skier.  They just have no interest in it. Girls (generally speaking, obviously) are social and jump on bandwagons..none of which involve newschool skiing.

how do you feel about skiing with "the boys"?
Well, in the past it's been fun just because they were my friends. Not "the boys"..just my buddies. Now I ski with my boyfriend and I couldn't have a better time.
do many of your girlfriends do it too?
No.
why or why not?
First of all, I don't have many friends that are girls to begin with.  Second of all, the friends that I do have that happen to be chicks would rather be shopping or doing something 'girly'. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing anything they do, I just know that I hate shopping while they love it. I'd rather be skiing and they don't want to get wet. That sort of thing.
