I'm super disappointed/ depressed because i never get to go skiing. It just occurred to me the other day that the end of the season is approaching fast and i have only been able to go a mear 5 times. It fucking sucks because most of you guys Ive super close to a hill, can drive, or your parents ski and will go with you. My parents on the other hand don't ski so i rarely get a ride from them, i always have to beg other people to take me. And then I'm seeing these threads of you guys saying how you have been out like 30 times and 50 times and shit, it just makes me more sad.
idunno, I'm just kinda depressed and wanted to talk about it.
i've only been to the mountain like 4 times this year cause i was out for a month from breakin my collar bone and i've got hockey damn near every weekend and im goin to florida for a week so im pretty much screwed for the rest o the season too
yea it was hard getting into the sport, i only started last year and it is really hard to progress when you've only been out like 20 some times in your life, i was hoping to get 540's this year and 360 mutes and 270 offs
I'm still kinda happy that i learned 360's, 360 safety's, rails, 270 on, back flip, a bunch of different grabs, madly improved on my box skills( broken grinds, switch ups etc) so it hasn't been that bad for 5 times i guess.
but I'm going to Florida for two weeks in march so by the time i get back i doubt there will be snow left. I was supposed to go today but i fucking rained yesterday, and I'm so fucking pissed because all week we were getting dumped on and the day before I'm supposed to go skiing it fucking rains and shuts down my fucking hill, and on top of that they just opened their full park mid week and i was super stoaked to be able to ride it because my hill realized the need for a good park in this area and really really stepped it up in terms of creative features and stuff this year and now if i get to go next Monday( i doubt it) most of the shit will be gone because of the rain and their calling for warm weather all week. So all that new snow that they used for all the features will probably be gone., FUCK YOU MOTHER NATURE(jk, i don't want to get you to pissed, buy still FUCK YOU)
yea it was pretty good like i said in my above post

Try 3 days...and then breaking your shoulder. Then try watching 20 inches of snow fall in the midwest while your stuck indoors and cant move your arm.
me: "you should just say you're 17"
mikey:: "But wouldn't she know when she like (mutters off) downstairs"
me: "You have a small penis, don't you"
miley: "well not very small, but..."
i feel your pain bro so much. there isnt much in the world i love more than skiing and it looks like ill get 12 days IF im lucky. my own fault tho no one elses with me its strictly a money situation! sorry fer not translating the clip you sent me. i wasnt sure which one were which. but he didnt say anything to insightful just that they were an all around ski and you could rip any where with em and the differences were the width of the ski.
get a job at your closest mountain. then you have to go. that's what I did. I only would go a couple times a year and so i got a job at the mountain that's about 30-40 minutes away. you see, now i have to go
Accident means no ones guilty, ignorance means someones killed. Live it. Breathe it. Ski it.
i have skied less this season than any other season. it gets to me sometimes. it sucks, but what can you do. maybe you could explain to your parents how much it means to you.
When i was in highschool I knew this family that had 2 racer kids. they went up every friday afternoon, saturday and sunday without fail, unless the road was closed. If you offer to pay a little gas money, you could figure something out maybe.
thank god for newschoolers. without this dose of skiing i would go insane. it's like nicorette. my little fix.
i feel you bro working and going to school full time leaves me with very little time to do the things i actually like to do, i guess it just makes us enjoy it more when we do get to go though. gotta find the up side
