the Era is a sick board for sure man, its basically the same rocker and shape as the hyperlite premier...you'll get mad pop with this board for sure...you might want to consider a 142 though depending on your height, just for a little added stability and for landings. later man

if you want lots of pop, look at boards with wide waists and lots of rocker. I ride the Ronix One 142 and it's got the most pop out of all the boards ive ever rode. Other boards that I've liked are the Slingshot Response, Hyperlite Premier, and the 3DS, I've also rode the Murray but it didn't have near as much vertical pop, it was more of a distance with less pop sort of thing if that makes any sence. I've also heard good things about the Ibex, and the Shane. If you're 5'8/5'9 and going to stay that height, I'd stay with a 137, but if you're still growing for sure go for something in a 142.

liquid force substance and obrien player are both boards with aggressive 3 stage rockers that have a lot of pop. check out wakeworld.com theres tons of board reviews and a forum section that is decent but nothing compared to NS.

have any of you tried a slingshot response or recoil? They're basically a normal wakeboard that doubles as a rome. Such nice pop, butters so well, forgiving, shape-able, mad flex, only downside is their durability.

dude, cwb bindings kinda blow, but thats a good price for hinges and somebody who is just getting into boarding should snag those. honestly, i hate cwb boards and bindings. they just dont ride very well for me, but hyperlites have never let me down

The LF shane is rad. I still have the old subjekt. I havent wanted a new board, it is soo poppy and awesome. Last summer a buddy of mine rode it one day, and ended up breaking his leg in 3 places, requiring a a plate and a few screws. He couldnt handle the pop. . . can you?

it's a bad investment. with global warming, the lakes will be dried up by mid-july and you will only get about 2 months on your board before it is useless.

I wakeboard, Lake Powel is the shit. but all I know is hyperlight are my favorite boards. get one of those for sure. but bindings really do make the board. u need good bindings and fins. I would buy the fins and bindings separate from the board. completes suck

I have a premier and I would highly recommend it. I love riding it. Tons of pop. I also have a Murray. You can definitely tell the difference between the 3-stage and continuous rockers. I guess it's just a matter of preference but you definitely get more pop out of a 3-stage, given the right wake of course.
