Atomic ski with snowboard bindings at ISPO?

I was checking out some ISPO-movies (ISPO is a place where they show new snowboard/ski/etc. stuff) until I saw somebody mounting snowboard bindings at Atomic ski's. This is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozot0UMHkes&eurl=http://www.versesneeuw.com/?page_id=3

What do you think of this? I really don't know what to think...

definately not a ski. the concept simply would not work because of the lateral stability. most likely a split board.
