When you get such a natural high off even thinking about the upcoming weekend and what you want to try that you start shaking and any song you listen to is good. No matter what it is.

Even though i won't be skiing for 6-12 months, i'm always looking for new pants/skis/jackets etc..I'll spend money on ski gear more than I will on necessities such as my accounts payable haha

when i find myself shaking with excitement when i think about skiing the next week, or trying new tricks.

when i randomly do 270 ons onto the curb without even knowing it.

when i say "COOL STORY HANSEL!!!" and nobody gets it. same goes for "PICS OR IT DIDNT HAPPEN!!!!111"

i could sit here for hours and list reasons...

when all my school notebooks are full of messily drawn skiing pictures. i spend hours and hours at night on NS and watching old ski movies over and over. when im standing on the top of a line ready to drop in and i get goosebumps ten fly down it. its all i think and talk about. i <3 skiing

i literally dream about skiing. and daydream about skiing in class and stuff. also...i try to learn everything i can about it, spend hours reading about new skis and reading pro's profiles and stuff. also, i've realized that the years i skied the most i was also the happiest. i can ski by myself and be perfectly happy... i don't need to rely on other people to make me feel good

on sundays when im driving from the mountains i wish the next day was friday so i could be back on the drive to keystone or vail. and then i talk about skiing all week and count the days until i get to step into my tele bindings and hit something

when...
reviewing a friends essay you end up drawing anything relating to skis
you see a ski mgazine from '86 and still get excited (and laugh about the 205's and 190's)
when in the middle of class you're pretending to hit moguls under your desk
when you wake up and immediately look out the window for snow.  in july
your skis are waxed and tuned in august
plus many more...

when you are willing to get up before 6am to drive out to the mountains and still be in a good mood driving the whole way there. when you are walking around and you spot a perfect urban and your friends wonder why you are oggling at a rail.

when your grounded and you look at your boots everyday and just wanna sneak outa the house and leave and ski and never come back. or when you get excited just to head up to the hill. when you step into your skis and you look into the park and get a rush and just wanna go hit the jumps. when all you do is think about skiing even when your playing skateboarding games. when you relate skiing(somehow) to everything even if you just think it and not say it. theres a million to many to list! ooooo i love skiing!<3

When you get excited to go skiing then you find out that you're not going to be able to go you flip shit, become moody, and basically dont want to talk to anybody about snow.. skiing.. or anything of the sort..

but you cant help but go on NS and talk about it...
