Ok, so the park builders cult is a little slow, so i'll post here.
My local mtn has a park, it was started last year. the features aren't too bad, small but doable and its acessible by a rope tow, just for park. its nice to have. Since i work as an instructor there, im there a lot
Now, the problem is, that the people that run it are basically the liftees. they switch on and off taking runs and man-ing the lift. They do an alright job at keeping the park up well, but not good enough. I asked for a shovel one time and was granted it for fixing lips and such. But lately, they've said their not allowed to give me a shovel as their boss would get mad.
So, i wanna go about having me and my friend becoming volunteer "park upkeep crew". How might i go about suggesting such an idea to the mtn managers. Should i explain that parks need upkeep crew, if so, anyone have any documentation for this. I also want to propose an idea of having an up to date park features list, and conditions of each (open, closed, raked last, Etc). How might I go about this, i know most resorts have this, anyone have any documentation to back it up to help me out
So basically, i wanna become a park crew at my local mtn, how would i go about suggesting an idea.
