How much does a light freestyle ski binding weigh?
haven't bought many pairs of bindings before and i have the 08' line invaders and i want to keep the ski as light as i can. i only weigh 125 so durability of the binding isn't really a problem. im trying to compare them with the bindings on my skis now thats why i was wondering the weight of a light freestyle binding.
Salomon Z10/Z12 weigh about 858-860gm per single binding (i.e half a pair) - very light
Look px12's are 1280gm per binding - quite heavy.
You can get heavier, but at your weight you wouldn't be looking at anything burlier than that, So they will generally fall within that range
i'd really go for the binding that will last longer if i were u. weight doesnt matter at all. i have heavy bindings on light skis. its fine, and the setup is light as hell
yeah the bindings i have now are like 1133 grams and compared to other skis mine are somewhat heavier and they are supposed to be really light skis.
my friend has some p12 demos that weigh 6 pounds, lol
