i dont know why everyone has to be such dicks to kids askin simple questions. My advice is when you are approachign the lip of the jump, pop of the lip, and just look over the shoulder in the direction you spin. I look over my left shoulder, and just keep lookin till you spot the landing, then look straight ahead. Your body will follow your head
Fear causes hesitation and hesitation causes your worst fears to come true
t looks really hucked when you do what p jo said to do. (no offence to him)
Jules: Whoa... whoa... whoa... stop right there. Eatin' a bitch out, and givin' a bitch a foot massage ain't even the same fuckin' thing.
Vincent: Not the same thing, the same ballpark.
Jules: It ain't no ballpark either. Look maybe your method of massage differs from mine, but touchin' his lady's feet, and stickin' your tongue in her holyiest of holies, ain't the same ballpark, ain't the same league, ain't even the same fuckin' sport. Foot massages don't mean shit.
Vincent: Have you ever given a foot massage?
Jules: Don't be tellin' me about foot massages - I'm the foot fuckin' master.
Vincent: Given a lot of 'em?
Jules: Shit yeah. I got my technique down man, I don't tickle or nothin'.
Vincent: Have you ever given a guy a foot massage?
Jules: Fuck you.
Vincent: How many?
Jules: Fuck you.
Vincent: Would you give me a foot massage? I'm kinda tired.
Jules: Man, you best back off, I'm gittin' pissed.
10feet of air to do a 360 i dont think so you could jump on flats and do a 360 if u wanted, he could just build a 1ft pile of snow shape it and do it there unless he already goes big
Windells session 1
(1) is the all important pop, totaly and uterly nessesary and its real hard to stick some style and also a grab for later without pop.
(2) To generate the spin i found that the smoothest rotations come from just the shoulders and the abdominal coiling up. for smaller jumps you will have to use your arms to generate the rotation. (try to keep the plane on which you swing your arms horizontal which ensures that the 360 does not go off axis)
And i have found the best time to release the coil built up buy you twisting your body is JUST as you boot has left the kicker. and then look over you shoulder, spot the landing. Fist in the air. ski over to the babe. give her a snog.
Everybody else pretty much overed it, just make sure to commit to spin and dont back off, i see kids make it to 180 and then panic a lot, so just commit to the spin and do everythin else people mentioned and youll be set

god snowking you are a fag you ask the same post 20 tmeis over and you have asked on tips on how to do 360's. somebody wants to learn how to do a trick that is for beginners and its a gateway trick to all the other spins. dont give him shit for wanting to get better. i bet you cant even do 360's cuz reading what you have writen you dotn know anything about skiing.
you are probably going ot fall. choose a nice soft day. pop of the lip, then start to rotate. look for your landing after 180-270 degrees. then stick it. dont worry about style until you are comfortable with just doing it
when i pulled my first 3, i actually landed it... surprising enough.. They way i did it (trust me, it didnt look pretty, but it was a start), was to cock my arms to my side (opposite of the way you spin), then as you launch off the lip, whirl your arms around to the other side of your body as fast as you can. The momentum will pull you around then just spot your landing and you got it. AGAIN... this doesnt look pretty, but it gets you comfortable.. after you get good at these, you should really need to cock your arms hardly at all, and you can through in grabs once you are comfortable with spinning.. hope that helps.
yeah just try them off every conceivable jump, lip etc. (they can be done with next to no air) and you're bound to get really comfortable with them in no time. What shellibabe said about looking back uphill at 180 really helps you stay on axis for loftier 3's, McDonnel taught me that at High North and it made my 3's a lot smoother and kind of stalled out.

I just learned 3's last season. I think it made it easier cuz i learned 180's the first week of season . I just did 180's for about a week. I think it will help to learn those first if you can't already do one. And just basically look over your shoulder in the direction your spinning to speed up your rotation. Scary the first few times but then it becomes second nature. And like everyone else said the pop is a very important part to get you centered and balanced in the air.
The Olson twins are Michelle you sick little baby fuckers.
waht size tables are you hittin, cause if its puss ass 5 footers u might as well butter to 180, but if u have any balls, a 3 on anything over 30 ft is not hard at all, in fact u should really have to set for a 3
'why would those comercials make u want to have a period'
'so i can have 7 to 10 days of nothin but partyin'
start with your legs shoulder length apart, knees bent, with your leading arm(arm thats the same as the direction your gonna spin) in front of your body, pop off the lip and spin with your upper body and head first and your feet will follow
it wont work at first, youll probably land like 270 or 180, but each time, think about what you did wrong and try again

Just try it on a small jump...Im talking like a little lip of a snow blower. Just huck it as hard as u can and trust me u will fall..just get back up and do em again I still get nervous doing threes on bigger jumps so dont feel like you should be landing it first try
lol there a mad haters in this lol all you kids were asking for tips on how to do shit when you started this kid just wants help and you guys all rip on him like your pro or some shit give the kid some slack he wants help.
okay so u rotate the hips, your body goes where ur head goes, cock your arms to the right if ur going left, and dont turn till u hit the jump thanks and if this is wrong reply and tell me thanks
This is ur lewiston local bad @$$ skier
first of all get used to spinning. so just learn 180s u can like do em
off the ground or anywhere really. then find a smaller kicker and wen
your at the lip wind ur arms up and spin. u will most likely land ur
first one if u can do 180s with your eyes closed. i landed my first one
then i went back up did a 540 and kept going and the next day i did a
7. it really heps to just spin on smaller jumps cuz u get used to jumps
and spinning off of them even if it doesn't got any style. maybe thats
just for me because im 13 and small..ER lol but w/e its not bad just
invision your gonna do it. and just like jump and do a 360.like in your
first, do tons of 360s on flat ground without ur skis on....(like in ur bedroom or something) this is call muscle memory...the more you do them, the easier they become. Then, take it to the snow....i find that learning 3s is much more simple off of something like a roller than off of a real jump like a table because usually people learning 3s arent that comfortable in the air yet.....so do them off of something that gives you only like 5-6 feet of air, maybe even less. I also find that winding your arms to spin doesnt really help for doing small spins like 3s...in my opinion it just gets you off axis and off balance, so try not to wind your arms up. Now, approach the takeoff with minimal speed....just enough to cleat the jump with some air....as soon as you feel airborn, just turn your upper body, and turn your head, trying to spot you landing....your skis for the most part will follow your upper body when it twists, but you may have to swing your skis a little to get fully around if you dont get enough air or a hard enough rotation....the first couple of times you will probably land at 270 and either fall or sorta revert into a 3....just keep trying then and you will eventually be able to throw 3s off of practically anything. Good luck!
