So recently I've been noticing new banner ad's and such around the site and they are not for ski companies. I know Publisher's Clearing House can make the site more money than EC Headwear, but EC is a core SKI company started by a member of this site. I'm just a bit scared of the fact that I am seeing non-ski related ad's on a website started for, and dedicated to, skiing. So what's the deal and does this bother anyone besides myself?

I think its called something like non endemic. Where companys not related to, ex: skiing give NS money to advertise or something. NS with more money is more NSTV, more NS comps where for $40 you get snow kicked on you for 30 seconds. I don't want skiing to turn into what snowboarding is but this whole core mentality is getting rediculous. Don't you want NS to have money? There are only so many core companies.

Its the adds themselves. They are so fucking annoying and they just piss me off all together. Its not like anyone on this site is gonna go get thier masters from a shitty add they saaw anyway, most will just ignore it and it will be burned into your subconscience mind. I think that non-skiing related ads pay more than skiing-related ads, which is why NS mgt were playing around with the idea - I think it's being looked into though

Guys... why the fuck does it matter. You usually never click on that stuff unless it's a really cool ad, of which I've only ever seen ONE. Just don't pay attention to it. It makes NS a fuckload of money, why can't you just wipe the sand out of your vaginas and deal with a little unrelated picture on the extremities of the page (which you only have to look at in the beginning before you scroll) for a greater cause?

And if you're really incapable of dealing with it, then why don't you go download a program called Proximitron, it will make all those ad spaces turn up as white boxes, and white is the colour of snow thus skiing related so you'll be able to sleep at night!!
