hey i'm thinking about taking a trip down there next summer....
where's the best mountains:
most pow / bigmountain lines
i've heard they have gnarly wind in some places, are there other places that have less wind
is chile or argentina have better snow, and which ones cheaper to live in.
where are tickets / places tp stay reasonably cheap
TOTALLY GNAR GNAR BRO BRA
well i live here in Chile i can tell you about Chile... the best pow is in portillo, valle nevado ( the ski resorts in central Chile near santiago the main city), and termas de Chillan, the some places for big mountain lines... for park the best one is in El Colorado and also valle nevado has a decent prk and also the only Pipe here in Chile... if you stay in santigo you have a 1 hour ride to get to the three main resorts those are Valle nevado, el colorado and la parva those three are like 5 min apart...also to portillo its like 2-3 hours from santiago...the other option is to stay and farellones wich is a high mountain little town where a lot of peole stay cause its like 5 min away form the three main resorts... moneywise its cheaper than the states for example a one day lift ticket its like 45 dollars and for a place to stay you have a lot of choices some cheaper but in any case the living its cheaper than in USA... the snow here in chile its really sick (i have skied in usa so compared to that) like in july and august some of the best snow you get a lot of sunny days and some big storms in between to go shred the pow
skiing in Chile is sick!!
