Only if you have an analog capture card in your computer with an S-video-in port. Most analog capture cards only have A/V component plugs though.

My old camera was analog and my new one is digital so what I do (to transfer old tapes for editing) is hook the old camera up to the AV-in ports in the digital camera, transfer that to DV tape and then upload that to the computer through the digital camera's Firewire cable.

get a tv card to capture from analog source. not the best method tho.

if your computer has the s video in and the camera has the s video out i see no reason why it wouldnt work. I don't really know anything about s video though.
