Ski Length Question

Hey im about 6'2-6'3 and weigh around 155-160 pounds i spend about 75% of my time on the runs but about 25% in the park and i was just wondering what length skis i should get for twin tips(if that matters at all)

im 6'2 and i have 178 anthems.

but ive also skiied stuff 170 in length and those were ok. 

nothing below 170 fo sho

im  6ft 165 and i ski 164s, i think is more personal preferance than anything, so long as you dont go way too short or too long

Your forehead is usually a pretty good bet.  Go longer if you consistently ski really fast.  Shorter if you like little turns.

yah i have 159s now and i have only about a foot in the back and it really pisses me off

yah i know but i got them when i was shorter and i grew like a mofo and now i am really unstable on them since they are so small but they still work but its insanely hard to do certain stuff

i am your exact size, and have 178 anthems. these measure short because of how K2 and LIne measure skis, so they are actually more like a 182is range. for yours (and mine) size, you should be in the 180 range, especially if you are going to center mount. hope that helps...

I'm not sure you should get a center-mount if you're only spending 25% of the time in the park.

the length doesnt matter so much, it is the stiffness of the ski and your ability, style (aggressiveness) that determine the length of ski you should get.

somewhere around the 180 mark should be perfect for you

Center mount only if you you enjoy riding switch, and it some also prefer it for rails. I would put it 1 or 2 back from true center, which should be 1 or 2 in front of recommended.

And to put it in perspective, i'm 5'8'' 125lbs and i was riding 160cm last year. This year i moved up to 176, and i thought it was going to be huge, but surprisingly, they are still really manageable and more fun to ride.

Yeah. I'm about 5'6 - 5'7, riding 171's. It's perfect, IMO.

yah i'm looking at the 176 08' AR6s from armada and I would prolly go about -2.5cm center thanks to you guys :)
