How to cork 5?
k i searched it and i dident really find anything useful. could someone maby give me step by step instruckions on how to do them. i tend to land on my face when i try em
You almost want to be leaning back before you leave the jump, kinda like a small tail press, that way your already laid back in the air and have enough time to get your skis back under you.
But if your only having trouble getting your skis back under you, hit a bigger jump so you have more time.

dude unless you are chris turpin, leaning back and pressing off a lip is going to kill you on a cork 5er. id love to see footy otherwise. not talkin shit though im just curious.
to the thread starter, get a good carve off the lip to set you on the right axis, make sure you pop hard and commit, at 270 you should be facing the ground so find that landing and dont lose it. in my pics i have a picture of an underflippy 5 which is really just a 5 thats so corked you loop it, but you can see where you have to look and how to carve to get the rotation pattern. but all things aside, make SURE that you carve and POP because even though this doesnt seem like a very poppy axis, without the pop you are probably going to undershoot and die. damn im bored. hope that helps, im going to bed.
I would say thats pretty close^^^^ would say just focus on carving it our and dipping your shoulder in a bit keep all spread out and steezy so its easier to tuck and get around if you fuck up. When I was learning them I kept slowing down when I was facing directly down and it sucked. If your doing underflips then just carve more and add more spin to keep from your head whipping under

if your just learning cork five i wouldn't carve as much just because that complicates things for me atleast. i dunno if you can cork 7 but i learnt that first because it seemed easier to me. then to cork five you throw it like a cork 7 but you throw it more over your head rather than to your side
