Weed decreases coordination? bullshit.

just curious who agrees? i keep reading all those articles on the internet saying that you can't drive when your blazed, and your coordination sucks...  well, what about uh, like the whole skateboarding community? if anything takes coordination, skating does.

thoughts?

kinda...i dunno it depends who you are, how high you are, how focused you are. but for the most part it deffinetly changes ur coordination even though you can control it.

my two friends and i got blazed during lunch at his house a few days before school was over.
i don't drive and either does my other friend but the other one does so we went to his house on the top of a mountain above the highway. we all smoked and we're really blazed and he drove back better than he does when he isn't. it probably seemed like that because i was blazed but there was a kid in the car with us that didn't smoke that said he drove really well.

i smoke 3 to 4 times a day, and got 4 a's and 2 b's this quarter in school in hard classes, it dont fuck with me, but word on the street is that it does fuck with your sleep paterns

It depends who you are. I blaze quite a bit and it defiantly fucks my coordination, but some kids I smoke with it doesn't bother them at all.

when im blazed, i feel like im being pulled off to the side.  like their is a rubberband attacket to me and a wall and im walking.  i dont no how but it happens every time i smoke weed.  so ya i wouldent drive, myself anyways.

thats pretty gnarly. i've never felt like that. i just start to like have points where i don't really blackout but its like i skip from moment to moment and everything kind of spins a bit. but its not like sick spinning. more like fun spinning. i wouldn't drive. i have trouble walking sometimes when I'm high

ggodpeople are so dumb unless ur fucking superman u can not tell me that weed enhances anything...except maybe ur appetite. u may feel fine when your driving blazed but the fact is its not as safe and ur coordination is worse. and dont say i dont know what im talking about...ive smoked and driven plenty in my younger days

effects from weed varies from person to person. I blaze a lot and it really doesnt do shit to me, but with a couple of my budies they get just fucked up when they smoke. I smoke a ton an get good grades, and the smartest kid in my grade is also probably the biggest stoner i know but other kids get all fucked up and lose motivation an stuff like that.

smoking weed makes me feel lazy. as for coordination, i know it fucks me up a bit, and it doesn't help for skiing, but all the kids i skate with tell me i skate better when i'm blazed.

longboarding high is seriously almost as cool as skiing/snowboarding. if you have a good hill, ive got one in my neighborhood thats fresh paved and and curvy and long and steep, ahhhh man awesome.

woooord i have an entire development like that, tons of gnarly hills, I am talking FRESH pavement, you will never slide out on a carving board with sticky wheels.  its the best feeling ever, cant wait til next summer gonna shred that shit!


weed doesnt really decrease coordination that much, just makes you cautious.  i dont do anything better when high, except I can focus really well if i take just one hit

skiing high i just cant learn new tricks. i just lap the park and do basic things, but all my friends say it doesnt affect their ability at all to try hard shit. also when im high i just think a lot and over analyze shit which sucks

im definitely less coordinated doing things when im high. this includes skiing, longboarding, playing video games and cooking stuff (fine things like chopping stuff and scooping things up with a spoon.
it does definitely make skiing, boarding and video games more fun though, i think its because it makes you unco though. suddenly otherwise simple stuff becomes a challenge.

i think it deff helps in some way. liek the coordination thing. in the summer when im bridge jumping im way more legit at doing tricks when im backed.  jsut cuz i can immagin it in my head or think of soemthign really creative to do and then go and do it. or like skiing. i just don't think and believe i can land anything i try. and it helps me focus on liek spinning inthe air cuz it slows stuff down so i have more time to do legit movez

I completely disagree that you lose coordination... I ski so much better high, longboard so much better high, even drive better high... because I'm focused 100% on what I'm doing, careful without being a pussy, etc.

hah yeah and ive got gumballs. its dope. ive had days when i was soo stoned and i forgot i was longboarding i thought i was snowboarding...its the same you are like looking around and ur bros are around you and you are messin around cuttin eachother off and shit, love it...deffinetly made me not as impatient for winter to come.

drugs effect everybody differently, and even though weed isn't a drug it still applies. I personally have only "lost coordination" after smoking a quarter or more. i still dont think it's a loss of coordination as much as a forget what you're doing type of thing.

accually weed enhances all of your senses; sense of smell, taste, hearing, sight, and touch. for me, it also enhances my creativeness. i love to draw and play drums while i am baked.

it is harder for me to ski, and bmx though

if i get fucking ripped, i can't do anything. my buddy and i built a bong in my garage once after taking a few bowl hits...and lets see we smoked about a little over an eigth between the two of us outta this thing, after smoking minutes before. idk though we built this thing, and i had the best hits i've ever had outta any other bong ever. it was fucking beast. we had to walk up my hill in the rain, and we could barely do it. i probably fell 5 times. so yes it does mess with your coordination.

This is so true. But I also think that tolerance has something to do with it. cause I know when I started smoking about 4 years ago I would always have a weed hangoever afterward but now this never happens and I can smoke alot more at once and manage myself.

I don't recommend driving high, but it's not a huge deal. If you get in a wreck your fucked beyond belief (DUI, many other legal problems, potential manslaughter, ect...). But just be safer than sorrier.

i dunno, skiing high just makes me lazy and i always feel im not gonna pop enought o get on rails. i still have same co-ordination though. dunno if id drive high but i think it would just make me more cautious.
