broken wrist. three month cast. its purple cuz they ran out of green. says no skiing but we'll see, def no park/progression , slightest movement will reseperate bone. fuck this; no skiing, no crew. all for doing a stupid little switchup and falling. a-danks, you got yourself a film bitch.

i messed up my first attempt at a backflip and broke my collar bone after 5 days of skiing. ive been out for 2 of the 4-6.
kids try your first backs into powder. its different then on tramp...

ya i have the same thing broke my tibula and fibula ( i think those are the bones in the forearm?) 9 weeks cast up to my shoulder it really sucks but now i get to learn how to film cause i cant ski anything x-treem

broken wrist will heal in 1.5 months. just don;t try to learn any new tricks or do anything where theres a good chance at falling on it... you can still ski powder and trees and shit

sliced off heel from september
i went skiing for the last two weeks...
but now its bleeding a shit load again
and there pulling this yellow dead skin out and it goes so deep
and the more they take out the more fragile my foot gets
but if it dosent get out it gets infected...
theyre telling me i shouldnt even ski this season
yeah fuck... this sucks
the bandages we have to buy are like 10 bucks each to
and since i get them changed everything thats like a good 80 bucks a week with taxes
my parents arent letting me ski now cause thats gonna make it worse

ugh i wish it had been my arm or hand but no it had 2 b my fucking knee!!!!

i was really gonna work at park this year but nooooo.

dr. did just tell me that there is surgery, a screw to hold the bone together, im gnna look into it an see if its a reasonable christmas gift

i just did the same thing, except they never actually said for me not to ski hah...or at least i didn't hear it.
this cast is annoying as hell and not using poles is such a biiiitch.

Nah dude, don't ask for surgery for christmas!

I had to have screws put in my arm when I broke it and it won't get you out on the snow any faster.

Plus you can feel those screws everytime it gets cold out and it sucks.

I haven't been skiing yet this year!! I snapped my tib/fib in February, and it's still really weak. I'm hoping I'll be out in a couple weeks though.

damn that sucks for you. hope you can still shred some this year. also, i chipped a little bone on my thumb today. went to the hospital, nothing major, i have it in a splint and i can still rotate it without too much pain. does any one know how long something like this would take to heal?

if it involves your thumbs and skiing its most likely a pole related injury. no poles will increase protection from that.

yeah it wouldnt have happened if i hadnt had poles. and the funny thing is that my friend was going no poles to work on handplants and stuff...and he wanted me too but i was like no thats gay. i guess karma's a bitch. i'll keep an open mind to nopoles from now on haha
