Dont steal!

especially when you will see the person skiing almost everyday..and decide to wear the shit in forn tof them!

any idea on what to do, i need ADVICE

late last season i got a pair of expensive goggles stolen from the table i was sitting at. Stupid me decided to trust the other 15 people in the lodge and left my stuff to grab some food a few steps away. I come back to see me and my friends goggles r gone. Just the other day these kids who were ironicly 2 of the 15 people present the day the goggles were stolen, and in the lodge, well they BOTH decide to wear ME and my FRIENDS GOGGLES that they had STOLEN last year. So what do i do. TAKE THEM BACK. AND what do you know..there is a scratch identical to the pair i had previously had in my possesion.

After making a large scene an older ski instroctor ends up taking them from me and i agree for him to hold on to them in the mean time. Wel it ends he he gave them back to the kid.

ANY idea on what i should do besides..kick his ass.

I have a receipt...

I say lock up his board and demand them back, have pics of you with em or the receipt in case he's a bitch and tells management about the situation. Or just be sneeky and take em back again and then write your name on em like said above.

most baller would be if you kicked their asses and then gave them the goggles back after you fucked them up. i think the lock idea is prob the best one yet. just lock their skis and leave locked there.

just continuolly be a dick to him constantly just casually cut him off, snake him, push him,  make him eat shit, and in the lift line announce to the world he stolde your goggles, or just yell something about him having a large amount of drugs "stop trying to sell me drugs!" and eventually he will be like, if i give you your goggles back will you stop, and once you get them back, DONT STOP

when they go in for lunch take the guys board. stash it/bury it and go talk to the guy and say "i saw some guy run off with your board just so you know, i can probly find it if you gimme those back" then just dont tell him where his board is till he gets it back. you cant get in trouble cause you can always say i saw the guy run away and stash it.

if you see the kid snowboarding, ski up behind him as fast as you can and just punch him in the face of the side of the head. that'll drop him like a brick, then just take your goggles back and get your friends to follow behind you and hit him again when they pass. basically dude, get a small group together and roll on his ass. he took something of yours, you have the right to get it back....so fucking do it

Here's what I would do. So there was already some contriversy, so be like man I gotta talk to you about those goggs and I just wanna apologize, then ask him to go into a room or something cuz you dont wanna make a scene (might have to get creative to get im to go into the room). Once in shut the door. Quickly grab him by the collar of the shit and pull him in while you need him hard in the stomach hopfully winding the guy, needless to say you want him in pain enough that he can't do much and you dont wanna hit him in the face just incase hes a bitch and goes to the cops, then say what ever you want make it clear that this will happen again but be way worse next time. Personally I would take his money from his wallet and tell him its the rental fee for the goggles and unless I get them back by next week I'm gonna want another rental payment, but hay I'm also italian so I tend to get like that one im stolen from LOL

while we're on the stolen topic. my goggles case was stolen out of my bag at sunday river yesterday. I would have put this in regionals but there was already a thread here. It was in a burton bag.

TO the thread creator. it doesn't qualify as stealing if you're getting your on stuff back.

steal his board and eBay it.  at that point in time, it wouldn't be negative karma points for you, it would be redemption.  either that or wait until his board and all his buddies' boards are racked up, gank 'em, and set them on fire in the parking lot.  they might try to beat you up, charges might be pressed, but you'll probably feel satisfied.

well go to your ski areas office and show them the receipt for the googles and tell them some kid that skis ther stole them and then have them look throught the pictures of members in that age group when they find his pic have them or someone contact the kid and then idk somehow find the kid take the googles or idk just do somethin like that and somehow you will get an oppurtunnity to get your googles back.

anyways, when they go inside for lunch just go and take their board(s). don't go anywhere with it, just stand there holding it, and wait until he comes out. when he says "give me back my board" just say, "not until you give me back my goggles"

it could work! you're not technically stealing his board, you're just touching it. you can't get in too much trouble from your employers for that!
