Getting sponsored?

Athletes don’t have to sign up for all three events, but you miss out on scoring the maximum points possible if you miss an event. For example. If you enter two events, and get second at both events, but someone else enters three and gets, say third, at all three events, they’ll end up with more points and beat you out.

Points will be awarded based upon the IFSA system, the higher you place in an event, the more points you score. The top female and male athletes with the most points will end up with the Liberty to Ride sponsorship.

Athletes must not be currently sponsored by other companies and must not have prior experience competing in either the IFSA North American or IFSA World Tour events.

To be honest man, its going to be really hard for you to get sponsored unless you start winning some major comps. It was easier a couple of years ago when the sport was newer, but everyone on this website i'm sure wants to be sponsored, and a lot of them are. with 270s and 7's under your belt, i know about twenty people who can do the same thing. you have to make yourself look different, with a bombass portfolio and you have to talk to representatives and be able to convincde them you are the man and everything, plus usually once you get sponsored it takes forever to get your gear but it is worth it. just have fun, get better, and quit worrying about getting sponsored and let it happen when you get a little better.
