Mounting Rossignol Scratch's
I recently purchased the 06/07 Rossignol Scratch FS WRS, as well as some Mojo 15 bindings to put on them. I have a pair of skis already, Apache Recon's, so these skis will be used for about 60% park 40% All-Mountain. I'm wondering where would be a good place to mount the bindings, I've heard that the true center of the skis is 7cm forward of the "modern" line. I'm 6'0, pretty new to the park, 145 lb. Thanks!
just mount on the modern line, it's perfect for park and everywhere else
Do not go where the path may lead,
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
Ski good or eat wood!
on my ghettos whish are 2008 and a bit different thatn last years, rossi recomends the addicted stance. i dont know if they marked that on the 07 skis though
Anybody else have any input?
go with modern, i think its -5 cm back from true center
I mounted my FS WRS today. Running length centre is the red Rossi R which is +6.5 from Modern (on my 181s at least). It's your call. Futher forward = better switch, closer to Modern = better handling. You have to compromise somewhere and only you can make the decision where.
i would go for addicted
i would say like 2cm for park maybe 1.5 if you want them good all around go 3cm to 3.5cm
