I took a hit
deep to the lungs
Held it in
Till I turned numb
Gasped for air
But you don't care
Cuz' now it's your turn
I'm drifting away on a giant sea turtle
But I'm still tethered to consciousness
I didn't realize my arms were this long
The colors are brighter more vivid
The sounds are louder, deeper, more penetrating
Thoughts drift in and out
Problems disappeared, faces disappeared
Movements slowed, environment remains the same
Hungry? No. Eager to taste? Yes.
Flavors, textures, temperatures each distinguishable
Nothing too hot or too cold
Shocks to the senses yank me back suddenly, not good.
Calm, still, as the sweet sage like smell engulfs the room.
Want to sleep, but can't, don't want to waste it.
Clarity in a world blurred by people
People who can't cope, people afraid.
Not me, I have visions.
Only purpose to see what's next.
Think about life off the turtle, unpleasant.
Get back on and drift away
Not on the water but on the smoke.
Happyness only in death. It's over.
