Pipecleaner bases

what is it that actually ruins the base of the armada pipecleaner? surely rails only effect the edges so the bases will be fine? so what is it that will actually ruins the skis base? im guessing only rocks and small stones but as a park ski you wouldnt be skiing anywhere with rocks? can anybody clear this up for me?

pipecleaners have very soft racing bases, so rails will definetly fuck up your bases fast.

thats what many people have been saying but in all the threads ive looked at there are always a few people saying the rails dont really do anything, people that own them say its fine.

also how do the bases compare in comparison to other skis? like the dumonts or volkl walls? there surely cant be that much of a difference? probally wrong, never looked much into bases or at all

the bases are softer, yes, but they are still fine for park.  soo many people ride them in park with no problem, it is the best park ski that armada makes.  it just has been used in thepipe more than the park

the bases are fine u wont have any problems. they reconstructed the edges and bases for this years model to make them more durable.
