So I just got back from seeing my friend who I got into the accident with and it was pretty hard seeing him the way he was. Has to take a “shot” (he presses a button hooked up to a machine that then ejects it’s directly into or some shit like that) of morphine every six minutes to easy the pain. He has a huge cut from the middle of his chest down past his belly button where they had to take out 2 inches of his intestine. Gnarly scare it will be though. He was just a sad sight to see. I overheard the doctors talking about how much the medical bill was going to be and how his insurance was not going to cover all of it. This made me even sadder because this kid is an awesome friend does anything for anyone and now he is fucked. Can’t go to school next semester or even finish this semester. What makes me feel even worse though I that I should have been driving and none of this would have happened. But the night before my CHANGE OIL light came on in my car and I didn’t want to drive the two hours to whiteface with it and I didn’t have time to get my oil changed so I asked him to drive and I would have drove to Gore on Saturday and Sunday.
Well after hearing the doctors I decided to start my on little Charity to help my friend out because I know he would have done the same for me. So for the nest few weeks I am going to be putting as much stuff on eBay to help make as much money as I can for my friend.
So please buy some stuff and help out a fellow skier/snowboarder. We alllove the snow but his season was taken short
