General mounting

when people refer to mounting +1 or +3 are they referring to mounting +1 or +3 of actual center (core center) or mid sole center(center of sidecut)?

Because I mounted +1.5 of mid sole and I am 170 lbs 5'11" and ride  about 45% powder  45% all mountain and 10% park and am not sure if i got my  bindings mounter in the right spot.

usually they mean from reccomended...unless they state forward mount or forward from centre

it really depends on the ski as to whether you got them mounted in the 'right spot' - most of the companies will have a different recommended point (i.e armada's recommended will often be forward of k2's recommended etc..)

yea most people refer to +1 or whatever as +1 of the recommended mark, unless otherwise specified like core or true center...
