Gotta love the early season! Shitty snow, rocks sticking up everywhere, but yet it is some of the most fun skiing in the entire year. The urge to get back on snow is huge and nothing is better then satisfying your urge. I like writing up little stories like this so I can go back as the year goes on and remember them, if you think its gay and I should stop posting them, feel free to say so.
So yeah, left at 8AM for whitewater, which is located near Nelson BC in the interior. The place is awesome. Tons of terrain. There was only 30ish cm of base so there was really only one or two runs that were skiable. We toured the 1200 Feet to the top and then took a run back down.
View from the parking lot:
Me on the way up, apparently not working out all summer leaves you out of shape, who would have guessed it?
When you work your ass off for every turn it makes the turns on the way down just that much more fun:
The dukes the arv's were in their prime today:
And there I go off to ski to the park lot:
So that was my day today, I personally love reading photo stories so I encourage everyone to post them, I hope I am not the only one who enjoys reading this kind of post. Constructive feedback is appreciated.
Note* if you care to comment/rate the photos two of them are posted in the public gallery.
