Phobia: Please Help!!!

i have two phobias: blind 270s off steep down rails......and blind sw ups on kinks.

please help?!  i can do a lot more technical stuff on straight rails, but am just freaked out to do these two things for some reason. i mean sw ups on kinks is alot easier than on straight rails etc...... any tips would be great. cheers!

Not much you can do about phobias. Happens to everyone... you just gotta do it again and again until your comfortable with the trick. After enough times itll be nothing.

and i have the best cure for fear:

tell yourself to shut up and do it already!!

it always works for me whenever im hitting something i havent hit yet and getting a bit nervous...

you wont ever know what you cant do unless you try...

and conquering that fear is one of the greatest feelings that comes from skiing...

nowhere else in life can you constantly face and head on tackle fears...

Technically its not a phobia. A phobia is an irrational fear of something, which means it makes no sense, youre just terrified.
You have a perfectly good reason to be scared, so it isnt a phobia.\

I call what you have the wall. You just need to get up the balls to do it once, just try it once, even if its on a tiny rail and you dont quite get there. After that, you're past the wall, and trying the rest of the times after that is easy.

yea, i kinda feel like i loose my balance in blindside switchups, but after practice on flat boxes and stuff it comes.  just keep practicing them on intermediate features.  you need to step your way up, keep at a level you are comfortable with, it prevents injuries and makes your skiing alot better in the long run.

you gotta get hurt first. not really bad, but u can't learn something new and completely get it without falling and feeling some sort of pain.

just find a small rail do then u would most likely bail and it would hurt then ur not affraid of it

just stop being such a pussy and spin it, if you fall you'll be like why was i scared of that again? the easier one of the two is bs switchups on kinks though just do it up, you'll get it first/second try i guarantee it. and the blindside 270 out of STEEP downrails it depends how steep it is but throw it a little before you normally would cause you'll clear more of the rail.

Yeah just work yourself up. If your afraid push yourself. Be like, time to man up, then grab your balls, sa Im not gonna get that badly hur if I fall, and thenjust charge. Inspiring music is very helpful, or redbull. or both. Nothing redbull cant do.

You just gotta stare it down and tell your self what your gonna do over and over in your head and the just hit it and you might not land it and as long as the bail wasnt big  you'll probably really want to land it

I have a horrible fear or not making it onto rails. I'm terrified of rails have a big gap on so I usually go way too fast and do some crazy end bonk and die.

i have a phobia of nutting myself
it goes beyond skiing, like when im just chilling im always worried about hitting my nuts
one time i got shot in the nuts by a paintball and they turned blue, but not from paint
