a question about absynthe

i have a friend coming from the czech republic, where absynthe costs like 200 crowns, in the vicinity of 8 CAD. Since this is the absynthe that you cannot get in north american legally, (because it has the hallucinogen wormwood), how much do you think i could sell a bottle for?

Maxim had a pretty nice little article on this shit that I read while pumping gas at 'Your Local Fossil Fuel Emporium'. It sounds like it'd be pretty crazy...but in order to experiece the effect it must be consumed in smaller amounts. I guess it's more of a hallucenagenic (sp?) high rather than the feeling of being drunk...as long as one doesn't drink too much. Otherwise you just feel shitfaced. Some of it goes for over $100 a bottle. You can order if online for anywhere from $20-$100 a bottle depending on quality and potency. And shipping to the United States isn't a problem for most websites. So, your bottle of the 'Green Fairy' won't sell real well. If you're thinking of selling it for $100, there's no point...and definitely no demand at a price like that. The neighbor kid looking to get fucked up isn't gonna pay that much bank. LATE

It does not make you trip like mushrooms or anything. It is a more creative experience, if you drink it alot you will go fucking nuts, lots of famous artists drank it. They believe it is what made Van Goh cut his ear off.

Actually, contrary to popular belief, the substance does not cause insanity. In truth, Van Goh lived in a stressful time period in stressful conditions. Most believe that the substance actually helped sooth his stress and frustration. LATE.

u know u can get the most fucked up without ever needing to take drugs.

go walk 100 miles through the backcountry over fairly harsh terrain carring only a space blanket in your pocket over a 3-4 day period, u will be a changed person.

or just stay away for 72 hours that will make u think differntly

not too mention, that its more dangerous then drugs, and is caused by 2 things. Without anything in the stomache, or anything eaten, then the mucus surrounding the stomache inner wall will slowly deteriorate, causing some stomache bleeding. Sound familiar? Same way shrooms work. And another thing is that there is almost no sugar in the bloodstream, or no insulin(i forget which one, i know theres a negative feedback loop somewhere in there). Now, with that in mind, the blood pressure will drop meaning that there will be less blood going to the head, causing a lack of oxygen to make you feel lightheaded and hallucinogenic.

yes it does. You know why ppl sometimes see a light before they die? It isnt heaven, its lack of O2 to the brain. Or if you start to get choked, then you start to see colours, if not, you havent been properly choked.

absinth is alright. Sebor's 110 proof stuff is pretty good, you feel a weird fucked up feeling when you drink it, kinda like a body high with a drunk mind. for the price though, i would suggest importing mezcal from mexico. you can get a handle for like 25 bucks american of the 100% agave mezcal tequila and sell it here for like $75. this shit gets you super wasted and leaves a nasty hangover, but if you drink alot, possibly mix it with some other drugs, you can trip your face off. it's much crazier than absinth...
