skiing imyta

skiers should havet there own imyta. it would be great, judges would be other skiers in the comp so its all fair and equal. it would also make skiers progress in order to win. then at the end of the season, it could come out on dvd , jsut like the imyta does for inline skaters. so why not?

^ yeah those are the sickest format for comps ever. Harder to do with skis cuz it takes longer to hike up, hard to keep a good flow goin, but yes they should do it more. Especially on rails.

I match your trick association. Basically everyone sessions one thing and tries to outdo each other, you see some really sick shit, especially if there is a huge crowd there.

yeah its like an anticomp, usually only riders are there, no sponsors or hired judges. Usually prizes are straight up cash.

IMYTA's are the nuttiest thing ever in skating, But i question how well it could be done on skis, however, i think it would lead to people going huge and new tricks and stuff would be invented...

imyta is definately the dopest format of contest ever for skating, but i dont know how it would work for skiing. skating is just so much different, theres hundreds of different grinds. i just dont think it would go to well.

a more reasonable contest i think would be like the red bull heavy metal. skiing really needs that. if the right people spoke with red bull im sure they could make it happen.

yea sure, imytas are amazing, but thatsbecause they fit skating so well,
they would not work with skiing the way they do with skating.
