Bands like saosin

ok I know this should go in media and arts but I want replies.

what are some bands that I might like if I'm a big saosin fan? I like good guitar riffs and great vocals basically.

meh chiodos is ok, funeral is ok. not as good as saosin though.

I really like anberlin too if that helps.

I pretty much love double bass, and heavy is pretty much the only place to get my fix.

have you heard as i lay dyings new stuff? plenty of double bass. slipknot has a lot of it. between the buried and me is more technical guitar riffs, but they are an amazing band

hellogoodbye and boys like girls are both power-pop
the early november could almost even be described as an acoustic band (being as that almost 1/4th of their catalog is just ace)
mae is piano-rock

meanwhile, saosin is post-hardcore.

i don't understand where people are coming up with these bands from...they sound nothing like each other.

haha, chiodos and every time I die, are much more hardcore the saosin, he's looking for good lyrics, I don't think you listen to screamo when you want good lyrics.

Chiodos is pretty close. I don't know why everyone keeps saying Every Time I Die, they don't sound like saosin at all.

I already know about circa being such a saosin fan. but I don't like em as much, I preferred anthony to cove but circa is kinda boring.

I don't think there really are many bands like saosin, anberlin is the closest I've found that matches the powerful catchy guitar and great vocals.

most of these are kinda whiny scenester bands, I kinda grew out of that a while ago.
